The pre-press proof is in for my next YA novel 'The Assembly Room'. I'm currently assisting my publisher with checks for the m/s so we can make sure everything is good for the printers. Cover artwork is also complete and the page for the book is now live here as well as at my publishers website. A book video trailer is also nearing completion and will be posted soon. Look out for further updates coming soon!
I had the great honour of being asked to help judge the winning entries for the recent Movellas writing competition in which my YA novel OTOLI was used as the theme's stimulus. You can find the winners and their entries by clicking this link 'Bullying Both Sides of the Story'.
My YA novel OTOLI has been chosen as the stimulus for a new writing competition created by Movellas. They are creating a high profile media campaign for the competition which will is backed by the charity Bullying UK, Pneuma Springs, Childline and others so please share this link with your friends, family and schools in any way you can via social media. The competition is open today (16th May) until 8th July 2012 so you have plenty of time to get your thinking caps on. Together we can all help combat the awful thing that bullying really is, in all its forms. There are super prizes to be won and runners up will receive a signed copy of the OTOLI paperback. OTOLI has been entered in to The Peoples Book Prize Spring competition for the childrens category by my publisher. You can vote for the book at the link here until May 20th 2012.
For all Kindle lovers out there! My publisher has reduced the Amazon Kindle price for my books to £1.53 / $2.36. You can read samples and reviews before you try and buy too. It's at least worth a peek isn't it?

The manuscript for my next YA novel, The Assembly Room, has been sent off to my publisher. Just waiting to hear back now for the verdict. :)
OTOLI is currently undergoing adaptation for stage play. I'll keep you updated with its progress. :)
